Moving Load

A moving load is a load that moves over a given distance of a structural supporting system. For example, axle loads due to traffic or loads from crane movements can be regarded as moving loads.

A moving load is considered in the structural calculation by defining several load cases. In this case, each load case reflects a specific load position of the moving load in the structural system.

Generating Moving Loads

In the program, load cases can be generated from the positions of the moving load by using the Load Wizard. In addition to concentrated loads, it is possible to apply load models consisting of several loads that gradually move across the model.
