Item List

An item list is an overview plan that shows the division of a structure into the individual components.

In item lists, the item descriptions are defined as binding. Furthermore, it shows and defines the individual calculations of a structural analysis in the context of the entire structure. For this, an item list and a structural analysis need to be absolutely consistent with each other.

A "position" refers to all individual structural components of a structural analysis. It has a unique description, called an item number. It may consist of ascending numbering or letters that describe the structural engineering of a structure in detail.
