The Fondation Avicenne, formerly known as the Maison de l'Iran, created in the 1960s, is a building of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) which now shelters many houses where students from all around the world are accommodated in an outstanding landscaped environment.
Residential Building in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico
JCR Estructural designed this residential building located in the city of Los Mochis, in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. The house is divided into two areas: the main area where the residential spaces are, and an independent area in the garden, for recreational use.

Graphical Workspace
The graphical workspace takes up the main part of the user interface. There you can create the model, apply loads, as well as examine the results. By clicking or rotating the cube (hold down the left mouse key while moving the pointer), you can control the view. As an alternative, you can use the mouse functions to set the view.
Navigator
The navigator manages the file data in a tree structure. At the bottom edge, there are three tabs (four after the calculation). Use them to switch between the tabs that control the Data, Display, Views, and Results.
Tables
In the tables, the data is managed in spreadsheets. Use the lists of main categories with the associated subcategories to set a specific table.
Control Panel
There is a legend in the control panel that facilitates the orientation in the results of a model and also provides basic control elements to optimize the result display.
Modern Interface
A great strength of the Dlubal programs is their intuitive, easy-to-learn operation. RFEM 6 is no exception. Create your structure in a user interface usual for CAD or via tables.
By right-clicking the graphical or navigator objects, a shortcut menu appears, which helps you to easily create or edit the objects. Due to the intuitive user interface, your structural and loading objects can be created in a very short time.

You are making great improvements to the Dlubal software RFEM, the Add-ons, codes, etc. It is great to see how Dlubal has become an outstanding software for structural engineers. I particularly love to see that tensile membrane structures can also be modeled with Dlubal. Kudos!
User-Friendly Software
In general I like RFEM because I think it's very user-friendly; in fact, it simplifies repetitive work a lot but at the same time, you can control and set all the parameters.

RFEM 6
To model structures in RWIND, there is a special application in RFEM. Here, you can define the wind directions to be analyzed by means of related angular positions about the vertical model axis.
RWIND 3
RWIND uses a numerical CFD model (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to simulate wind flows around your objects using a digital wind tunnel.
Result Evaluation and Printout Report
Your results and data are clearly displayed and easily accesible stored in RFEM 6. Internal forces, deformations, and support forces are clearly displayed in tables and graphics directly on the model. You can specifically select your results using various filter criteria. All data is documented in a multilingual printout report, the content of which you can easily adapt and save as a template. Furthermore, you have the option to easily integrate graphics, texts, MathML formulas, and PDF documents into the report. Further features for the result output are:
Central Organization of Projects, Customer Data, Blocks, and so on
The Dlubal Center ensures that your planning goes quickly and efficiently. Among other things, your projects and model files are managed here in a central location. Detailed information and graphics make it easier for you to assign all models and thus enable uncomplicated and clear order processing. Furthermore, your customer data, including the licensed programs and add-ons, are organized in the Dlubal Center.
Quick and Easy Generation of Loads
When generating loads in RFEM, a large number of useful tools are available for you by default to facilitate your work process. The program includes, for example, the tools for generating wind, snow and opening loads, and other loads, as well as the tools for converting surface loads into member loads.
Automatic Generation of Load Combinations
The Dlubal programs focus on efficient and uncomplicated work. Therefore, RFEM can automatically generate action and load combinations, as well as design situations according to Eurocode and other international standards. It follows the corresponding combination expressions. For example, you can also copy or add load cases in a clearly arranged window. Furthermore, the load cases and combinations can also be easily managed in tables.
