The day as a sales engineer starts with checking emails, prioritizing tasks, and preparing for upcoming meetings. Important documents are provided and current topics of our customers are discussed.
The morning is a dynamic mix of customer calls, internal meetings, and technical advice: Existing customers are taken care of, new customers are acquired, and customized offers are created. Individual solutions are discussed, questions clarified, and details agreed.
After lunch together, we continue with the preparation and follow-up of the proposals. Tasks are distributed internally, incoming orders are forwarded to the administration, and technical clarifications are handed over to the corresponding technical departments. At the same time, current processes are documented in order to keep projects transparent.
The afternoon is dedicated to customer contact: The focus is on callbacks, follow-ups, and coordinating further discussions. At the end of the day, open points are noted, emails checked, and updates passed on to the team – so the next day starts well prepared and with a clear focus.
