RSTAB is a powerful analysis and design software for 3D beam, frame, or truss structure calculations, reflecting the current state of the art and helping structural engineers meet requirements in modern civil engineering.
RSTAB is the basis of a modular software system and allows for intuitive modeling of simple and complex structures due to its sophisticated input technology. The efficient RSTAB solver allows for linear and nonlinear calculations of internal forces, deformations, and support reactions.
Various add-on modules are available for structural design, considering both material- and standard-specific requirements. Due to the modular software system, you can combine various products of Dlubal Software in a program package that meets your individual needs. It is possible to upgrade the program at any time.
The main program RSTAB is also available as a lower-priced 2D version.

Krkonoše Lookout Tower, Czech Republic
The look-out tower in the Giant Mountains (Czech: Krkonoše) is the second experience path of eak (Erlebnis Akademie AG) in the Czech Republic. At a length of 4,921 ft, it winds through the treetops of the mountain mixed forest. It ends at a lookout tower with a height of around 141 ft, and its platform offers a breathtaking view over the Krkonoše National Park.

Entrance Structure "Mitoseum" in Dinosaur Park Kleinwelka, Germany
The reception building in Dinosaur Park Kleinwelka near Bautzen, Germany has a total height of 72 ft and resembles mitosis. Mitosis is a type of cell division and the origin of life. The bionic structure consists of a total of 1,389 tubular steel members, each of which is connected in 269 nodes.
Pavilions at Oslo Airport Gardermoen, Norway
In the new terminal of the international airport Oslo-Gardermoen, five pavilions have been built to provide a space for duty-free shops and restaurants. Blumer-Lehmann AG in cooperation with Lindner Group planned, fabricated and assembled the freely shaped timber structures.

Interface
The structural model is created in a graphical user interface characteristic of CAD programs, via tables, or a combination of both. Extensive shortcut menus facilitate the data input. Photorealistic visualization of the structural model always provides immediate control of the input.
The user interface is intuitive to use. Therefore, the model and loading objects can be created in a minimal amount of time. Photorealistic visualization of the model in 3D rendering always provides immediate control of the input. You can also display or hide the guide objects individually.

RSTAB 8
To model structures in RWIND Basic, there is a special application in RSTAB. Here, you can define the wind directions to be analyzed by means of related angular positions about the vertical model axis.
RWIND 3
RWIND is a program (digital wind tunnel) for the numerical simulation of wind flows around any building geometry with determination of the wind loads on their surfaces. RWIND is available as a Basic and a Pro version.
Useful Tools for Fast Generation of Structures
Useful auxiliary functions and tools for generating structures including loads facilitate the modeling. Member and hinge nonlinearities (yielding, tearing, slippage, and so on) are possible as well as rigid couplings, nonlinear springs, or eccentric member connections.
Quick and Easy Generation of Loads
As a standard feature, RSTAB includes helpful tools for generating wind, snow, and ice loads and other loads, as well as for converting surface loads into member loads.

Automatic Generation of Load Combinations
In RSTAB, you can automatically create load and result combinations according to Eurocode and other international standards in compliance with the corresponding combination expressions. In a clearly arranged window, it is possible to copy, add, or renumber load cases, for example. Furthermore, you can manage the load cases and combinations in Tables 2.1 – 2.6.
Result Evaluation and Printout Report
Internal forces, deformations, and support forces are displayed in tables and graphically on the model. Filter criteria allow for targeted selection of results. All data are documented in a multilingual printout report. The content can be adjusted and saved as a template.
