Surface Load

A surface load is a load on a surface. This load can be comprised of a force, strain, or temperature.

Surface loads act on all 2D elements of a surface or on boundary surfaces of solids. The surface load requires a surface that has already been defined.

If a surface is subdivided into partial surfaces due to the intersection, the surface load is not applied to the inactivated partial surfaces (RFEM 5) or supported partial surfaces (RFEM 6). Openings are also omitted by the surface load.
