This load wizard allows you to apply a modeled free line load to the selected members of frame and truss structures, such as a girder grillage.
Usage in Program
The program provides several options for applying the line load in a model.
- Uniform: A load with a constant magnitude
- Linear: A load with a linearly variable distribution
Furthermore, you can select the members which the line load should act on. In the "Excluded Members" section, you can define the members that should not be subjected to any proportional loads, such as bracing members.
