In addition to a model name and the connection to a project, General Data of a model also specify the parameters, such as the model type and the orientation of the global Z‑axis. When creating a new model, you have also the option to use a model template.
The General Data dialog box provides further tabs. For example, the "Add-ons" tab controls the program extensions relevant for the model.
In the "Standards" tabs, you can specify the standards according to which load cases are combined and the design is carried out.
In the other tabs, you can make model-specific settings, such as the orientation of the global Z-axis, the use of representatives, or the building location.
