Parameterized input allows you to enter model and load data in a specific way so it is dependent on certain variables. These variables, such as length, width, or surface load, are called parameters. You can define them in the Global Parameters list.
In input fields, you can use parameters in a Formula to determine a numerical value. If you change a global parameter later, the values of all formulas using the parameter are adjusted.
The parameterized input is reasonable for the models where many changes are to be expected. The formulas of the geometry and load values are stored in the model data. The parameterized input also facilitates repeatedly entered models which are similar: Upload the template file and simply adjust the global parameters.
