Shift

With the 'Renumber | Shift' function you can shift the numbers of model objects as well as load cases, load combinations, actions and others by one value.

Important

If you want to shift the numbers of model objects, select the objects with one of the Selection Options before calling the function.

In the 'Selected Objects' dialog section, you can specify which basic objects should be renumbered if you have selected some model objects before accessing the dialog box. Enter the 'Increment' as the value by which the numbers of the objects are increased. You can also decrease the numbering by setting negative increments. However, make sure that no resulting numbers are smaller than 1.

In the 'Load Cases and Combinations' dialog section, you can change the numbering of imperfection cases, load cases, actions, and others. Select the relevant categories and enter the proper numbers in the 'No. from' and 'No. to' columns. It is also possible to use the Table Selection button to select the load cases and combinations in a dialog box. Finally, specify the 'Increment' as the value by which the numbers of the load cases and combinations are to be increased.

Info

Only free numbers which are not yet assigned are allowed for shifting the numbering of basic objects or load cases.
