Opening Dialog Box for Entering New Objects

There are different ways to open an input dialog box:

• "Insert" menu

Menu "Insert"

• Buttons in the toolbar

Quick Access Buttons

• Shortcut menu in the navigator

Shortcut Menu of "Members"

• Shortcut menu or double-click in the table

Double-click in an empty row. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut menu of the row number.

• The button in the dialog box

Button for Creating New Type

The input dialog boxes are aligned with the objects or types. The data are often organized in several tabs that depend on the selected object types, subcategories, or design specifications. For example, if activating the steel design, the tabs for entering design properties are also available in the "New Member" dialog box.
