Line Sets

Using a line set, you can combine lines and classify them as a unit. This way, it is possible to assign a trapezoidal load over all lines or to group curved lines accordingly, for example.

Info

You can quickly create a line set by selecting the relevant lines by multiple selection (by window or by holding down the Ctrl key). Then, select the Create Line Set function in the shortcut menu of one of these lines.

Line Set Type

The line set type describes the way lines are grouped. Two types are available for selection in the list.

Continuous Lines

Continuous lines are formed by connected, continuous lines. The end node of one line represents the start node of the next line. You could draw continuous lines without lifting your pen.

Info

As an alternative to continuous lines, you can use the "Node on Line" node type to create a line with segments.

Group of Lines

A group of lines consists of connected lines that may branch.

Lines Nos.

Enter the numbers of the lines, or select them in the work window by clicking the Select Individually button. Use the Reverse button to reverse the order of line numbers so that the direction of the line set is changed.
