Dialog Boxes

You can define objects in a dialog box, a table, and often directly in the graphic. All entries are interactive: The graphical input, for example, is immediately reflected in the table and the navigator.

The properties of structural and load objects, as well as the object and design types, can be defined or changed in the corresponding dialog boxes.

The default buttons in the status bar of a common dialog box have the following functions:

Button Function
Help Open the online help of the dialog box
Units and Decimal Places Open the Units and Decimal Places dialog box
Display Properties Open the Display Properties dialog box
Jump to Graphics Hide the dialog box and show the model in a view mode
Multiple Selection Set properties of the object graphically

Apply & Next Save the input without closing the dialog box and enter the next object
