Resulting Internal Force in Section

For control purposes, it is possible to display the resulting internal force in sections in RFEM. To illustrate this, the bending moment was selected in this example.

Manual control calculation by integrating the surface normal force NX in Section 1-1 for an HE-B 200 divided into surfaces:

Top flange: N = 154.32 kN/m · 0.20 m = 30.86 kN (constant)

Bottom flange: N = 154.32 kN/m · 0.20 m = 30.86 kN (constant)

Top web: N = 92.59 kN/m · 0.0925 m · 0.5 = 4.28 kN (triangle)

Bottom web: N = 92.59 kN/m · 0.0925 m · 0.5 = 4.28 kN (triangle)

Moment: My = 2 · 30.86 kN · 0.0925 m + 2 · 4.28 kN · 2/3 · 0.0925 m = 6.24 kNm
