In the Add-ons tab, you define the analyses and designs that are performed for the model. You can also see the program extensions you have purchased or that are available as trial versions.
Tick the check box of an add-on to activate it. Thus, additional functions for objects become available; for example, input options for design-relevant parameters such as effective lengths and transverse stiffeners, or extended calculation options such as warping torsion, stability, or dynamic analyses.
Add-ons marked with an orange dot are only available in demo mode.
'Analysis Add-ons' allow for extended analyses of the model; 'Design Add-ons' allow for material-specific designs according to the rules defined in the Standards l tab. 'Special Solution Add-ons' are used for special analyses.
The two check boxes in the 'Standards for Classification and Wizards' dialog section are ticked by default. Thus, both the Combination wizard and the Load wizard are used to combine load cases and to generate wind and snow loads.
The 'Optimization & Cost and Estimation of CO2 Emissions' dialog section offers the possibility to optimize the model with regard to resource consumption.
