Dialog Boxes

You can define objects in a dialog box, a table, and often directly in the graphic. All entries are interactive: The graphical input, for example, is immediately reflected in the table and the navigator.

The properties of structural and load objects, as well as the object and design types, can be defined or changed in the corresponding dialog boxes.

The default buttons in the status bar of a common dialog box have the following functions:

Button Function
Help Opens online help of dialog box
Units and Decimal Places Opens the Units and Decimal Places dialog box
Display Properties Opens the Display Properties dialog box
Jump to Graphics Hides dialog box and shows model in view mode
Multiple Selection Allows to set properties of object graphically
Show Formula Shows Formulas in text boxes
Remember Last Entry Saves settings selected in dialog box
OK Saves input and closes dialog box
Cancel Exits dialog box without saving
Apply & Next Saves input without closing dialog box and enables input of next object
