Since the equivalent member design of Eurocode 3 has different interactions than in the case of the design according to the partial internal forces method, and the combination of these different design checks is not desired for reasons of clarity, RFEM deactivates the equivalent member design when using the RF‑/STEEL Plasticity add-on module.
