Results by Solid

The Results by Solid category of table results lists the numerical results that are available in the grid points of the individual solids. The results are sorted by a solid number.

Deformations

The resulting deformations of solid boundary surfaces are shown in relation to the global axes. You can control the graphical display using the "Global Deformations" category in the navigator (see the image Spectral Analysis Results ). The table lists the corresponding results in the "Deformations" tab.

Info

The result types of the solid deformations are described in the chapter Results by Solid of the RFEM manual.

Stresses

The stresses of the solid boundary surfaces are subdivided into three categories:

  • Basic Stresses: Stresses in the direction of the surface axes
  • Principal Stresses: Stresses in the direction of the principal axes
  • Equivalent Stresses: Combination of the principal stresses according to von Mises, Tresca, Rankine, or Bach

Define the result type for the graphical display in the "Solids" → "Stresses" category in the navigator. The table lists the stresses of the solid surfaces in the tabs "Basic Stresses", "Principal Stresses", and "Equivalent Stresses".

Info

The result types of the solid stresses are described in the chapter Results by Solid of the RFEM manual.

Strains

The strains of the solid boundary surfaces are subdivided into three categories:

  • Basic Total Strains: Strains in the direction of the surface axes
  • Principal Total Strains: Strains in the direction of the principal axes
  • Equivalent Total Strains: Combination of the total strains according to von Mises, Tresca, Rankine, or Bach

Define the result type for the graphical display in the "Solids" → "Strains" category in the navigator. The table lists the strains of the solid surfaces in the tabs "Basic Total Strains", "Principal Total Strains", and "Equivalent Total Strains".

Info

The result types of the solid strains are described in the chapter Results by Solid of the RFEM manual.
