Load Cases
The time history analysis is based on a load case to which the Time History Analysis | Accelerogram or the Time History Analysis | Time Diagram type is assigned.
You can use several load cases of the "Time History Analysis" type for a model.
Loads
Loads represent the loading resulting from a specific action. They can act individually on nodes, linearly on members, or distributed on surfaces.
In the time history analysis with time diagrams, the loads defined in a load case of the "Time History Analysis | Time Diagram" type are combined with the selected time diagram. In this case, the structural loads define the size, direction, and position of the excitation.
