The Accelerogram tab is available if you have selected the Time History Analysis ❘ Accelerogram analysis type.
Assign Accelerogram
In this section, specify the accelerogram that contains the desired earthquake recording. If you have already defined one or more accelerograms, you can select it in the list. You can create a new accelerogram using the
button or edit the selected accelerogram using the
button.
Furthermore, it is possible to exaggerate or flatten the accelerogram by using a "scaling factor" for each individual direction. You can check the result of the scaling with the general factor k in the diagram below.
It is also possible to define a rotation about the Z-axis, which rotates the accelerogram by an angle in the XY plane.
Graph
The lower section shows the imported time diagram in a graphical form. When moving the mouse along the graphic, the respective abscissa and ordinate appear. Use the mouse wheel to zoom, use the left mouse button to move the diagram, and double-click the mouse wheel to restore the overall view of the diagram.
