Once you have made all the entries in the Load Cases and Combinations dialog box, you can start the calculation directly. The selected load combination is calculated using the
button; the
button starts the calculation of all load cases and combinations.
You can also start the calculation of the current load combination by clicking the
button in the toolbar.
Click the
button to start the calculation of all load cases and combinations (see the chapter Starting Calculation of the RFEM manual).
During the calculation, the horizontal load is increased in load steps. A static nonlinear analysis is carried out for each load step until reaching the specified limit condition. You can follow the progress of the calculation in the "Calculation Progress" dialog box.
