As soon as you activate the Concrete Design add-on and select the standard , two additional folders appear in the "Navigator - Data": Types for Concrete Design and Concrete Design.
Types for Concrete Design
You can assign the elements of the Types for Concrete Design to the objects that you want to design. This allows you to make the important specifications related to the objects for the design. The table manages the types for concrete design in the "Structure" category as properties of the model objects. These design types are described in Chapter Types for Concrete Design.
Concrete Design
The objects of the Concrete Design category manage the specifications for the design, such as design situations and material properties. You can also access these objects in the table: Select "Concrete Design" in the list to display the design-specific input data in a table.
The tables and input dialog boxes of this category are described in detail in Chapter Concrete Design.
Further Settings
Further settings for the concrete design can be done in various input dialog boxes of the RFEM or RSTAB user interface. You can define the stirrup and longitudinal reinforcement of members, which have a significant impact on the design, or you can assign design supports in order to take into account the shear force reduction and moment rounding. These important entries, which are not part of Types for Concrete Design or the concrete design tables, are described in Chapter Design Properties of Members.
