Selecting Objects by Criteria
This feature allows you to select objects according to specific criteria. Moreover, objects can be added to or removed from an existing selection.
To open the dialog box for the special selection, select the menu entry
- Edit → Select → Special
or use the toolbar button shown on the left.
The Category column on the left lists the objects defined in the model. The right part of the dialog box depends on the selected object. You can determine a selection criterion and specify detailed settings in this scrollable dialog section.
Example
With the settings shown in Figure 11.26, all surfaces that are modeled Parallel to surface 1 (floor slab) are selected.
You can also use the 
button to define the template surface graphically.
