Merging Lines and Members
Lines or members that are connected with each other can be combined into a single line or member. This function is only available in the shortcut menu of nodes, which can be accessed by right-clicking the division node.
While the [Del] key simply deletes the selected node and consequently the joined lines, members, and surfaces, the shortcut menu offers extended options to Delete Nodes, but only for nodes where exactly two lines or members are connected.
If the lines or members do not lie on a straight line, RFEM creates a new line or member between the edge nodes when merging.
