This manual describes the 'Concrete Foundations' add-on for the RFEM 6 program.
You can activate or deactivate the use of the design add-on in the Add-ons tab of the model's Base Data.
A green dot in front of the add-on description means that a license is available. An orange or blue dot indicates that you can only use the add-on as a demo or trial version with a limited range of functions.
In the Standards I tab of the Base Data, you can select the Concrete Design and Geotechnical Analysis standards to be used for the concrete foundations (see also Chapter Standards I of the RFEM manual). The input dialog boxes of the concrete foundations are automatically adjusted to this standard.
The currently available design standards and a summary of the functional scope can be found at the https://www.dlubal.com/en-US/products/rfem-fea-software/add-ons-for-rfem-6/design/concrete-foundations. Product Description] of the foundation design.
After activating the add-on and defining the standards, the user interface is extended by some new entries in the navigator, tables, and dialog boxes. Thus, the parameters of the concrete foundations are completely integrated into the graphical user interface of RFEM.
