Reinforcing Bars

If you have selected the Rebars type in the '''Reinforcement''' tab, you can only define rebars for the slab reinforcement here.

In the 'Define' list, you have several options for the top and bottom surface:

1. Define reinforcement manually
2. RFEM definiert die Bewehrung automatisch (in Vorbereitung)
3. Deactivate reinforcement

When you define the rebars manually, enter the diameter and spacing. It is possible to deactivate a reinforcement direction by clearing the check of the corresponding button.

• den maximalen und minimalen Durchmesser festlegen und
• eine Liste mit verschiedenen Durchmessern vorgeben.

RFEM selects the appropriate diameter.

For each direction (x- and y-direction), you can specify whether the member reinforcement is divided into one or three distribution surfaces (see Distribution Surfaces chapter). For each distribution area, you have to enter the diameter and the distance. The first and the third distribution areas can either be identical or defined separately.
