The EGT corporate group has built a new site in St. Georgen that is future-oriented in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability. The new four-story oval building consists mainly of timber and was constructed in just four short weeks.

A concrete core was not even used in the project of structure stiffening. The structure's stiffness comes exclusively from the solid cross-laminated timber walls.

Isenmann Ingenieur GmbH from Haslach performed the structural and dynamic analysis of the timber structure in RFEM.
