The model illustrates an innovative steel supporting structure, developed as part of the revitalization of a spoil pile abandoned since 1975 in Baesweiler. The aim was to implement a unique urban development and technology concept. IFS Consulting Engineers for Structural Engineering Prof. Feyerabend. Schüller Partnerschaftsgesellschaft from Hürth made a decisive contribution to the realization. This demanding project led to the German Landscape Architecture Award in 2009.
