Для запуска полных версий RWIND 3 и RFEM 6 или RSTAB 9 необходимо авторизовать все программы. RWIND 3. comes with an important change in the licensing of the program, namely the Online License, which is compatible with the authorization of other Dlubal Software programs such as RFEM 6 and RSTAB 9. This license brings a number of benefits, such as the ability to comfortably use RWIND on multiple computers or to use it in virtual and cloud environments.
In addition to the Online Licence, the option of authorization by using the hardware key (Sentinel HASP) for cases where the online license cannot be used due to unavailability or prohibition of the Internet connection
To activate RWIND 3, run the program as an administrator. Select Activate Now in the dialog box that appears when the program is started without a valid authorization.
Compared to RWIND 2, the option of authorization by software key has been removed and is no longer required. RWIND 3 can automatically detect and select the available authorization method at startup, and this feature is enabled by default. However, it can be turned off and the desired authorization method can be manually selected.
When using the Online Licence, the user must first log in to their account, see Image below.
After a successful login, the login credentials are remembered in Windows Credential Manager and the next time RWIND 3 is run on the same computer, the login is automatically performed. However, the user can log out or log back in at any time using the functions available in the top right corner of the main RWIND 3 window or in the RWIND authorization management dialog.
If the user is logged in to their account, they can then launch the Online License Manager.
This dialog then allows the user to select the desired license from the list of licenses available for their account. In addition, he can also make a short-term loan of a license here in case he needs to use RWIND 3 temporarily without an online internet connection.
There are different levels of authorization depending on the program license: RWIND 3 Basic, Pro, Trial or Demo. The differences between the Basic and Pro versions are described in the previous chapter RWIND Basic and RWIND Pro. The trial version is a limited 90-day full version of RWIND 3 Basic with maximum of 20 calculations available. After 90 days the version will change to the demo version. The Demo version allows you to explore the program (view results of demo examples), but you cannot run calculations or save projects.
The borrowed license can also be returned here early. At the same time, other useful features are available in this dialog, such as online links to websites with detailed information about RWIND or to the webshop.
Eduactive and Trial licence
Although the RWIND 3 Online License is fully compatible with the authorization system for RFEM 6, there are a few minor differences regarding the free licenses, i.e. the Trial license and the EDU license for students.
The provision of these licenses requires increased scrutiny by PC-Progress customer support. The first time such a license is used, if the license has not yet been approved, the RWIND 3 user will receive a message that the license is awaiting approval, which will be done no later than the next business day, and will be notified of the approval result by e-mail. PC-Progress Customer Support is notified of this request by email and verifies the eligibility of the grant
the license in question free of charge, the result of the process is then sent by email (i.e. either approved or not approved and the reason). Reasons for non-approval may be, for example, international sanctions imposed on the country in question or repeated use of the trial license, etc.
