Error No. 58: Surface Load in Critical Perimeter

In RF‑PUNCH Pro, I get message No. 58 saying that the surface load inside the critical perimeter cannot be determined for result combinations. Why is this message displayed? How can I avoid it?

Answer:

When determining the punching load from shear forces in the critical perimeter in RF‑PUNCH Pro, the "Consider surface load inside the critical perimeter" option is available at the end of Window 1.5.

If you select the "Determine" option, the program requires a clear load situation. This explicit load situation is not given when applying the result combination (RC). Therefore, you receive the mentioned message No. 58.

You can avoid this problem by entering the surface load inside the critical perimeter manually, or by using load combinations (COs) instead of result combinations (RCs) in your calculations.
