The RWIND 2 "Project Manager" enables batch calculations, where the selected projects are automatically opened, calculated, saved, and closed one by one. This allows you, for example, to run time-consuming calculations overnight. Each calculation in the batch takes full advantage of the number of cores / processors set in the "Program Options" dialog box (that is, the calculation internally runs parallel). The calculations are performed sequentially because each calculation requires a relatively large amount of RAM and running multiple calculations simultaneously could result in a lack of memory and a drastic slowdown of the calculation. However, in future versions of RWIND 2, we plan to add the ability to run multiple calculations simultaneously.
To start the batch calculation, open the "Project Manager," select the projects for the calculation and press the button.
Then, another "Batch Calculation" dialog box appears where you can click the button. This starts the step-by-step calculation of tasks, with the status of the tasks being displayed in the table.
