If some experimental data from real wind tunnel experiments are available, they can be used for verification of numerical calculation. In RWIND, you can manually enter measured surface pressure values to the point probe verification data. After the calculation, they can be directly compared, see chapter Point Probes section Verification Data Options for more details about interface and options.
The verification data in point probes can be extrapolated/interpolated on the surfaces. Several interpolation methods are available.
After the calculation, the verification data can be displayed in the "Results" section of the navigator, where you can display the verification data, the RWIND results or the difference between the RWIND results and the verification data.
The verification pressure can be compared with the simulation pressure or Cp coefficient results, the verification Cp coefficient is calculated from the verification pressure.
