This chapter describes how to create and manage stories.
If activating Building Model add-on in the Model - Base Data, you can create a new story in the Navigator - Data in the 'Building Model' category: To do this, right-click the Building Stories entry. Then, select New Building Story in the shortcut menu.
The dialog box 'Building Stories' appears where you can define the individual stories.
Story Dimension
You can enter the story height manually or use the
button to define it graphically in the model by clicking on two nodes.
Modeling
Additional specifications that you can redefine or adjust in this dialog box are possible for each story. The individual options are described in the Modeling chapter.
Information | Analytical & Mesh
In this area, you can find specific information about the story selected in the "list" on the left. The first column of values lists the analytical information about the story, the second column lists the information calculated on the basis of the generated FE mesh.
Graphic
In the right area of the dialog box, you can display a static drawing of the story height and a dynamic image of the current story in 3D. Use the
button to switch between the two display options. The 3D view provides the usual options for controlling the graphic, as in RFEM.
