The following overview shows the user interface of RFEM 6 and contains markings at the points in the Navigator or in the global settings, which are extended by specific input options as a result of the activation of the Geotechnical Analysis add-on.
Basic Objects (1)
The materials are expanded in the Basic Objects folder. Suitable material laws for the analysis of soil are now available.
Special Objects (2)
The "Soil Samples" and "Soil Massifs" objects specific to the geotechnical analysis are added to the Special Objects folder. These serve to define the soil structure to be analyzed.
Global Calculation Settings (3)
In the "Calculate" menu, under "Mesh Settings", settings are added specifically according to the requirements for meshing the soil model.
Load cases and combinations (4)
The initial state can be set in the Load Cases and Combinations folder. Furthermore, specific analysis settings are available.
