Hay dos tipos de mallas que se utilizan en el cálculo. The first is the finite element mesh (FEM) on the surface of the simplified model. Based on the first FEM mesh, a second finite volume mesh (FVM) is generated in the flow field around the model. These meshes are described in detail in the following chapter, followed by the local FVM refinement.
