The new deep drilling rig from BAUER Maschinen GmbH allows for drilling depths of up to 7000 m, including for oil and gas. The structural analysis was carried out by the engineering office H.-U. Möller, with the modeling being done using RSTAB. The device can extend existing drill holes and is sold internationally. Model images show deformed and undeformed states.
