Import of DXF into SHAPE-THIN

I cannot manage to correctly import the cross-section from a dxf file into the SHAPE‑THIN program; the imported cross-section is in the wrong plane. What can I do?

Answer:

If the cross-section is in a horizontal plane, try to change the DXF Import Settings in RFEM. In the File menu, select:
Import → Format → DXF Format – Model → Detail Settings → Z axis: Down.

When performing the import again, the cross-section should be imported in the correct plane.
