The Wolbecker Road Bridge No. 76 was designed as part of the infrastructure project “Extension of the Dortmund-Ems Canal” to increase the clearance width and height for shipping traffic. This allows for a more efficient use of the waterway by efficient vessels. In cooperation with Dissing+Weitling from Copenhagen, the Dlubal customer grbv Ingenieure im Bauwesen GmbH & Co. KG from Hannover designed the preliminary and draft planning for the replacement construction. A side view and the first buckling mode were visualized in RSTAB.
