The third approach to entering the initial bow imperfection in RFEM or RSTAB as described here is to use the "Local Imperfection" type. You can assign various member and member set imperfections to this imperfection type.
You can create a new member imperfection using the
button in the toolbar and selecting the "Initial Bow" imperfection type. It is also possible to select the appropriate standard directly. In this way, the program automatically applies the appropriate imperfection size. In the right dialog box section, the table from the standard is shown again for an overview, and you can switch between the information screens to the imperfection type using
. For example, you can see that the imperfections are applied via suitable equivalent loads.
