Background layers help you save previously marked objects in the background and use the snap function on these elements. Moreover, you can then move, rotate, and otherwise work with these objects; for example, members or nodes. To open this menu, right‑click the respective background layer in the project navigator and select "Guide Objects" → "Background Layers."
Move/Edit Background Layers
DXF files can be imported as background layers in RFEM and RSTAB. They can have one to three dimensions. For this, you can use DXF files from other programs as well as DXF files exported from RFEM or RSTAB.
