Mode Shapes - Limiting Selection of Shapes

I need many mode shapes to achieve a sum of 90% effective modal mass. Can I limit the number of mode shapes for generating equivalent loads?

Answer:

Yes, you can. Mode shapes with only a small portion of the effective modal mass can be ignored.

You can define this manually or use a filter in the program.
