Add-on Modules for RSTAB 8 – Dynamic Analysis
Add-on modules for seismic design, vibration analysis of buildings, machine foundation design, natural frequency analysis for bridges and chimneys.
DYNAM Pro – Natural Vibrations Add-on Module for RSTAB 8
The DYNAM Pro – Natural Vibrations add‑on module allows for quick and convenient analysis of natural frequencies and mode shapes for spatial beam structures.
You can import all required input values directly from RSTAB. Powerful eigenvalue solvers (such as Lanczos, subspace iteration, and so on) are available to determine up to 9,999 eigenvalues.
DYNAM Pro – Forced Vibrations Add-on Module for RSTAB 8
The DYNAM Pro – Forced Vibrations add-on module allows you to dynamically analyze a supporting structure with regard to external excitation. You can define various excitation functions in tables, as harmonic loads, or as a function of time. The time history analysis is performed using the modal analysis or the linear implicit Newmark analysis.
Seismic analyses are performed using the multi-modal and multi-point response spectrum analysis. The spectra required for this can be created in compliance with the standards or user-defined. The add-on module includes an extensive library of accelerograms from seismic zones. These can be used to generate response spectra.
RF-/DYNAM Pro – Equivalent Loads Add-on Module for RSTAB 8
In the DYNAM Pro – Equivalent Loads add‑on module, you can perform seismic analyses with multi‑point response spectrum analysis. The spectra required for this can be created in compliance with the standards or user-defined. From this, the equivalent static forces are generated.
DYNAM Pro – Nonlinear Time History Add-on Module for RSTAB 8
The DYNAM Pro – Nonlinear Time History add‑on module enables nonlinear dynamic structural analysis for an external excitation. You can define various excitation functions in tables, as harmonic loads, or as a function of time. The nonlinear time history analysis is performed using the explicit analysis method. This module extension removes the restriction to linear systems in dynamics.
