We're excited to showcase the renovation of the Vilstalhalle in Vilsbiburg, originally built in 1978. This extensive project, undertaken by our customer BBI INGENIEURE GmbH, highlights innovation and modern design while preserving the building's core functionality.
🔧 Renovation Details:
Roof Replacement: New roof cladding for improved durability.
Additional Floors: Expanded gym and weight rooms, plus wet rooms on the second floor.
Modernization: Ventilation and electrical systems upgraded.
Energy Efficiency: Enhanced thermal envelope for better energy performance.
🏢 Building Overview:
Dimensions: ~45 m (147.64 ft) long and ~35 m (114.83 ft) wide.
Features: Bowling alley, gym, locker rooms, and restaurant across three stories.
Roof Structure: Duopitch roof with glued-laminated timber trusses, skylight domes in alternating bays.
The structural design for the additional floor was carried out by BBI INGENIEURE GmbH using our RFEM structural analysis software, ensuring precise and efficient planning.
