The subject of this thesis is “Design of an arched roof structure for tennis courts.” The thesis presents two design concepts, and then, based on simplified calculations, one of them is selected for detailed dimensioning. An arched trapezoidal sheet was selected, and the purlins, bracing, arched truss, and selected connections were dimensioned. The FEM model of the truss was described parametrically, and its shape and sections were selected using a genetic algorithm.
