Response Spectrum Analysis

In the second step, you will perform a response spectrum analysis which is based on the modal analysis results. You will create a specific load case again and adjust the spectral analysis settings to combine the directional components in accordance with the ASCE 7 recommendations. Then you will assign the response spectrum relevant to the geographical location and select the mode shapes. Finally, you will create a new design situation for the seismic analysis and design the relevant result combinations.
