Exciting Year of New Beginnings
The year 2024 has brought us many unforgettable moments. We are especially grateful for the trust, cooperation, and support of our customers and colleagues. Together we have achieved great things – and we are incredibly proud of it!
We started with a premiere in January: for the first time we were represented at job fairs, including the IKOM Bau in Munich. There, our dedicated team was able to give visitors an exciting insight into career opportunities at Dlubal. The success encouraged us to participate in further fairs at the end of the year, such as the WIK company contact fair in Leipzig and the bauMarkt in Dresden.
A technical highlight was the launch of our AI assistant Mia. She helps us process requests faster, streamline workflows, and continually improve customer service around the clock. Mia grows with her tasks as she is trained using ChatGPT and our website. As an important part of our innovation strategy, she is available directly in RFEM 6, RSTAB 9, and RSECTION 1 as well as on our website and is constantly adapting to the needs of our customers.
Spring of Innovations
In February it was time again: We presented ourselves at the digitalBAU in Cologne. The direct exchange with our customers showed us once again how valuable personal conversations are. Our experts demonstrated how Dlubal software optimally supports our customers' projects.
In March, we reached another milestone with the launch of our new website! After intensive planning and development, it now reflects our commitment to innovation and user-friendliness, with a fresh design, clear structure and improved functionality.
Summer, Sun, Team Spirit
June was all about team building the Dlubal way! Our summer party in Pilsen brought the German and Czech teams together for an unforgettable day.
An impressive tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery was followed by an afternoon full of sports activities such as football and spikeball, before the day ended with a cosy barbecue evening. These moments of togetherness are priceless!
July was also a month of growth: With the launch of our new careers page, we have created a place where you can not only find all open positions and work areas, but also gain exciting insights into everyday working life at Dlubal. Find out first-hand what our employees like about their work – and why you should become part of our team! Personal impressions and authentic photos from our office will bring you closer to us. By the way: This year we welcomed 68 new colleagues to Dlubal – that's growth to be proud of!
In October, we added the Concrete Foundations add-on to our software. But that's not all – we have implemented a wide range of new features in our programs and add-ons, including:
- Transfer of support reactions to free loads
- Load wizard for moving loads
- Optimization of cloud calculations
- Load case combinatorics according to EN 1991-2:2003 based on EN 1990 for road bridges
- Timber panel element
- Member type "Pile" for geotechnical analysis
- Joint-structure interaction
- Automatic determination of the number or diameter of rebars in the design of reinforced concrete members
- Fire design of timber and concrete structures
After Work Comes Pleasure
In November, we celebrated a special achievement: our AI assistant Mia was awarded "Innovation of the Year 2024" at the Construction Computing Awards! Of course, we were also present at BIM World Munich. We were able to welcome many customers here. We enjoy the face-to-face interaction, because the best conversations and ideas are always generated live.
In December we celebrated our Christmas party in Tiefenbach. With good food, relaxed conversations and the indispensable photo box, we ended the year in a cozy atmosphere. Such moments strengthen not only our team, but also the anticipation of what is to come. We would like to thank everyone who came and made the evening so memorable!
We are now looking forward to 2025 with confidence and team spirit. We have a lot of plans, and this much we can reveal: we are planning to open a new office in the Ruhr area, as well as additional offices in India and Singapore to better serve the APAC market. Our development department is also enthusiastically working on further add-ons, such as prestressed concrete, timber connections, and glass design. Something to look forward to, but all in good time.
