Adjusting Loads with Factor

Is it possible to apply a factor to the loads of one or more load cases that uniformly increases or decreases all loads in these load cases?

Answer:

Yes, it is. Proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new static analysis setting.
  2. Select the relevant analysis type and check the other settings.
  3. Select the Modifyloading by multiplication factor' option and define the k factor by which you want to scale the loads.
  4. Assign this static analysis setting to the relevant load case(s). For "normal" load cases, use the regular static analysis setting.
