SHAPE-THIN Error Message: Material Library Cannot Be Opened

In SHAPE‑THIN, I get an error message saying that the material library cannot be opened. I have reinstalled the program and integrated the material library of another computer, but without success. What can I do?

Answer:

Open SHAPE‑THIN as an administrator: Right-click the SHAPE‑THIN instance → "Run as Administrator"; see the image.

As an alternative, you can uninstall SHAPE‑THIN and perform a new installation as an administrator, as described above.
