Design of Banisters with Hollow Sections

I would like to design banisters, so I have created a set of members for this. The cross-section is a hollow section. Can the stability analysis be carried out on the entire structure, or do I have to convert it into an equivalent member design with the specification of all supports in STEEL EC3?

Answer:

For a free-to-warp cross-section, we recommend performing the design on the entire structure using the second-order analysis - internal forces as well as local and global imperfections. Thus, it is not necessary to enter the effective lengths and nodal supports (for sets of members). However, please activate γM1 for the cross-section design.
