Grayed-out Earth Covering in FOUNDATION Pro

Why is the "Earth covering (permanent)" option grayed out in Window 1.4 of the FOUNDATION Pro add‑on module?

Answer:

If you have selected neither the direct calculation of the ground failure design according to EN 1997‑1 Annex D nor the design of the safety against sliding, it is not necessary to enter a soil profile. You can enter the earth covering as a load later.
